I am writing on Easter the period of celebration.First, of Christ death and secondly his risen from the dead. I am also writing on what should  be  the Christian reflection on Easter  and the world's perception on it.
First, you have to note this on your mind

The enemy will never surrender,your flesh will not surrender,  the world where you live and have associates will neither surrender nor leave you until you initiate a Godly  retreat, and you retreat and have retreated.
The Lord lays foundation of our retreating when he begin his ministry in humility.He  was acclaimed by the voice from heaven, the voice of God, that " this is my beloved son in whom i am well pleased,here ye him ."There,an atmosphere of Godly retreat was displayed and obvious.

 I want  you to take notice that i do love to quote the Bible but sometime giving no reference,i do always want you to have the point without dishing into another issue.I am quite sure you are familiar with them if i don't put Biblical quotes.
On this topic of, Godly Retreat.Yes,the topic's  phrase is showing, a coming back , and to whom, God.
We do hear of words like  "no retreat,no surrender"in  war films.I have watched a film titled with those words before.

The point i want instill in you is that,you cannot surrender to God without  thirsting for a retreat.

It is the basic truth.We all want a retreat without surrender when we are still in the world and the world want you to surrender yourself ,without any retreat.Things matched and worked.You feel good.You taste sweet and palatable considering yourself  feasting on the vegetable love in the world's garden. The world never feel bad about God as long as you don't retreat from her(the world).

This Easter, A  calling for reflection on Christ work of salvation is a must.In other words the  reflections upon  our christian living is a must this season and every.
The  devil wanted the  christian life to be a jingle.The devil really want it to be  a place of faking,where christian fakes one another.The enemy's plan is to ensure he  made  christian living so difficult that you begin to think otherwise.To come out of the supposed christian jingles, an atmosphere created by the devil, you need to retreat into a safety.A Retreat place of God.You don't have to fake others as a christian if you keep going for a retreat.Should you?It is in the period of retreat that this get dawn on most people.Many Christians were so busy to gauge themselves in the Spiritual level.Retreat block  the  loopholes of tight schedules and other carelessness.

The world has always has its method of deviations from God and has been consistently disobedient to God's injunctions.The devil will never want you to go for a retreat with God.Christ died to redeemed man from this perfect evil scheme of the devil.A christian need to reflect on his standings,callings, desires,wills, intentions and wishes.Are they Godly? That should be the  question on every christian minds all the time .Are my thoughts Godly?Am i still standing?Am i still holy before God?Where  am  i in the power of God? Many, many other questions like these could agitate Revival.

It is good to go for a retreat.Some churches usually do this, annually.It is a welcome biblical injunction but not a necessities as retreat may be singular,even in the midst of large gathering , a single retreat is encourage.In such gatherings,like youth or church programs during the Easter,or thereafter there is a sense to draw closer to God than before.People  go to such convention with  seeking hearts.Such is retreat,though you may call it other names,tag it the way you want it is a retreat.


So,Retreat may be a single purposed ,family or a large group of body purposed.It may be Church gathering where people come together  before the Lord with the minds "Search me God.Am i......"
 A situation  whereby everyone laid his or her heart bare before God.

The Bible has records of Retreats.
The days of Ezra the priest is an example,another good example is in the days of Josiah.John the baptist began the retreat in the days of Jesus,Jesus continued to reveal God's mind to the people, and we have read of how the people retreats to the mountain to hear Jesus speak parable to them,teach and preach to them of the kingdom of God..Many were retreated and they come unto God,wanting him to save their lives and he did.Christ teachings turned around the lives of  lots among the  people and they  were in the process, stirred up to seek God.
Other Facts about Retreat
It enable you to examine yourself,if you are still in the Lord.
It ensure you are able to review yourself and in the process get updated.
It flush out of you every tares and lukewarmness that have gotten into your life.
It empower you to re-design yourself in the area of serving God.
It serves as a fresh foliage to create an atmosphere of spiritual growth.
It enables you to walk with God and create such awareness to others.
It is the power of God to save sinners and bring their names into his book of life.
It should not be seen as a time of festive.
It is the believers' moments.
Everyday should not be a Retreat.


In the sober state people do reflect most,and this could be useful too in a period of Retreat.You have to be sober,yet happy.Reflect on Christ sufferings and his death on the cross of Calvary and also reflect on God's plan of salvation  for mankind.You are to reflect on how Christ died that you may be retreated away from the grip of the enemy.

When you seek God he will give you a place of Retreat to retreat.


In Lagos here,Children have closed school and were busy preparing for Easter.They have their plans to swell it  out this season.It is going to be great for those who are truly in the Lord for they will combine it with Easter teachings..However, should adults have the same minds like these young ones,it will be very unfortunate. unfortunate.


The season we are going into, is a period where to do this in my remembrance is at its peak.It should accompany a  Godly reflection that will bring a Retreat and in this course ,which in turn bring amendments,confessions,repentance and re-fire among the  children of God.The key is  that most children of God in the season of Easter Re-fire.



I am wishing you a Godly Retreat this season of Easter,that shall fire you and re-fire you back into the powerful realm of the Spirit you have been before.

Lucifer- From my literature studies part two

On a starr'd night night Prince Lucifer uprose
          Tired of his dark dominion swung the fiend
          Above the rolling ball in cloud part screen'd,
Where sinners hugg'd their  spectre of reprose.
Poor prey to his lot fit of pride were those.
          And now upon his western wing he learn'd,
          Now his huge bulk o'er Afric's sands careen'd,
Now the black planet shadow'd Arctic snows.
Soaring through wider zones that prick'd his scars
          With memory of the old revolt from Awe,
He reach'd a middle height,and at the stars,
Which are the brain of heaven, he look'd, and sank.
Around the ancient track march'd,rank on rank,
          The army of unalterable law

This is a didactic  and a sonnet poem.It pinned down the point of  Lucifer's fall.It employed Biblical allusions.It is Miltonic in nature by virtue of its Rhyming Scheme.
The writer George Meredith wrote this poem to reflect on the story of the Fall of the Angels as told in the Milton's " Paradise Lost".

The devil is the Lucifer.The writer describe him as a prince, a kind of biblical allusions. The two were taken from the bible.Let's consider them from the bible;
"How you have fallen from heaven, O star of the morning, son of the dawn! You have been cut down to the earth, You who have weakened the nations! Isaiah 14:12 NASB
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!Isaiah 14:12 KJV


The devil has been called a prince also in the bible.Read it here in;
John 14: 30
Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

The truth here is that, the devil is a fiend meaning a wicked evil  spirit.I have a point to say here,while God become more compassionate,graceful,long-suffering and merciful towards us the devil  has repented himself from persecuting mankind but to manipulate and with subtle has cornered most  men away from God.The devil is the prince of this world.He tempted Jesus and at the point of crucifixion the angels of God ministered unto Christ.

Devil means a foe or an enemy of God.Lucifer from the Bible ,an archangel  and possibly son of the morning star. Satan implies and adversary of God.The minus of  God is the plus of the devil but the plus of God is the sorrow of the devil.If you have God it is the devil's sorrow.God through Christ in your life is the chief sorrow of the devil.

 There is a victory for me and you and this victory is only claim through Christ.If you read the  poem's line four you will understand there that sinners celebrate the devil openly.The writer was saying that "Where sinners hugg'd their spectre of reprose".Praising the devil.However if you come to God today through Jesus you will no longer praise the devil but God, your creator.Jesus has destroyed the work of the devil.

God loves you than your lovers.The best to love, is God, the creator of your lovers.The best the devil will ask you to love are your lovers not God.He rebelled against and has gathered lots and lots  among the sons  of men in rebellion against God.

The  devil is bound and out of no way he cannot get into heaven.The God who has banished him from heaven will surely destroy him in the lakes of fire at the end of the ages.Come to Jesus today. 

My own themes(Messages) from the two Poems

On what is life?
Life is vanity.A bunch of vanities.Dangle and jingle before our faces are vanities of life,as if they were the keys that open the door of true life.
In another way life is no being, but we chase after it as if it is one.If life is  a being like us we would have killed it.Remember they killed Jesus.The truth however is that life is no being but a resident in our beings.Life is a single nothing, but a breathe and existence.Life is a factor that never satisfy us and is barren.It comes cheap but goes cheaper.
In the course of our chasing life we have become so gigantic,great and exploitative in our creativity.We are at  the door of creativity but have  never been  able to get the door of life.God secure the source  away from us, for our own benefit.When we really scrutinize what life is we have nothing to excite us but to regret,sigh,shrug and  a couple of actions like those.The room where life begins is where life  end it.Though life is unique ,its diverse dimensions foils man's effort in taming it.Mouth like life ,Life like mouth.Life do change.Life by virtue of its changes tame man.Hence, the beginning of the study of man's life.
We can not study man without mankind.The present generation has much to say about man.We are full blown population.A staggering  billions of heads!!!The second poet said the "the proper study of mankind is man".Restricting my words to the bible,i could lay hold on two great people whom God use to shed light on what man is,what life is  and the reason of man's imperfection.King Solomon and Jesus Christ.Theirs were revelation revealed unto us.Not human speculations and fables.While the king was ordained in the position of prophet, for he saw in parts God's  revelation on what perspective man and life  should be viewed from.In the capacity of God's wisdom given to king Solomon, he was able to see man not greater  than beast.He ,though looked pessimistic as to the reason behind man's creation and purpose, but assert that God own all,i assume God want it that way.Solomon through. through divine inspiration in some extent was able to see part of God's divine revelation regarding to what life is.
Jesus when he was on the earth said "greater than Solomon is here".He opened the eyes of everyone to the full understanding of whom man is and what life is.He made us know, that, life is eternal,either to life or death.According to Christ,there is eternal life and  eternal death,but Solomon never said that.Christ discuss abundant life too.Christ said he is life from God.From Christ we could deduce that life is our right,it is what we should own for ever,for God want us to have it forever and  ever.We talk of life,when living alone,.we keep memorial of the dead.It should not be so.Though dead they have life.Hence,we could deduce that life goes beyond death.Those who died in the Lord wake up into  a new life where they are asked to rest.I ask when one rest, is one dead? The answer is a simple ,no.If you say they are dead  maybe when you are resting.......It goes all like that.
It is your right to live till eternal but live it in eternal life.Your life is a worm if you are not in Christ.The bible says"...and their worms shall not die but they shall be tormented day and night in the fire."That's to those who are rebellious to God and his Christ.
I pray as you read this blog you will have your life surrender to the Lord.
The world, the pleasures,cares and comforts  are never coolie as they do say.they are.They shall all perish along with the disobedient ones.

Those who are  in Christ dies no more, since they have passed from darkness into the marvelous light of God.They have passed from death into life. In God is life while  in the devil is death. 
It is appointed for a man to die once and after death judgement.God's judgement is near at the door.Be prepared.

From my literature studies part 1

I have two didatic poems to share with you and the theme of these poems is the bone of the issue i am writing on .The kind of  image i am creating on your mind today as you this blog is not to be limited in the poem but biblical focusing.The fictional materials presented are not mine.I found them while studying literature.I have soft spot for them.They are didatic because they teach moral values.The poem reveal the mood and thinkings of the poet on Man and his life.
The first poem is Solomonic.I mean it  took its root from King Solomon.It carried along  the philosophy of the Preacher theory-the Ecclesiastical principle.The principle of vanity.
The first poem is all about Man in his today and tomorrow, but is silent on the future,i mean eternity.
                                                       What is Man

Today, man lives in pleasure,wealth and pride;
Tomorrow pooror life itself denied:
Today, he lays plans for many years to come;
Tomorrow,sinks into the silent tomb:
Tomorrow his food is dressed in dainty forms;
Tomorrow, he himself a feast worms:
Today, he enjoys the halls built to his taste;
Tomorrow, in his coffin he's confined:
Today he has a delusive dream of heaven;
Tomorrow, cries too late to be forgiven:
Today, he lives in hopes as light as air;
Tomorrow, he dies in anguish and despair
After all these ,what is life?

                                                           Man! an imperfect creature
Know by thyself,presume not God to scan,
The proper study of mankind is man.
Placed on this isthmus of a middle state,
A being darkly wise and rudely great,
With too much knowledge for the sceptic side,
With too much weakness for the stoic's pride,
He hangs between;in doubt to act,or rest;
Born but to die,and reasoning but to err;
Alike in ignorance,his reason such,
Whether he thinks too little or too much:
Chaos of though and passion, all confused;
Still by himself abused or disabused;
Created half to rise and half to fall;
Great lord of all things,yet a prey to all;
Sole judge of truth,in endless error hurled:
The glory jest, and riddle of the world!

Divine Healing.

I want to write on Divine Healing.
Healing is not healing.There are kinds of healing.There are ways of healing.Jesus divinely  healed while he is on the earth.God is willing to heal divinely,but it seems there is no avenue for that now in this present world,we are not  creating it as it should be.This topic has caused a lot of stirs in the Church.I saw it  as an atmosphere of challenge to many pastors. I am going to write the little i know of it here.I am going to make reference to the Bible.

In the days of Jesus there are physicians.Luke, a physician  was there  and he  give some accounts as a witness of Jesus miracles.He was able to write,in his second book,to Theophilus a very important person in those days.He has written the gospel according to saint Luke.His Gospels contain more miracles than those of Mathew and Mark of  the synoptic gospels and if Act of the Apostles is to be considered too,he is the one who wrote more on miracles in the new testament.He wrote  more parables than others,more  parables were distinct or quoted to him alone.He gave account of what Jesus began both to do and teach.He is a  physician turned an Evangelist.

Luke valued divine healing.It seems to me God chose him by virtue of his occupation.I believe he could not believe what he was seeing and hearing.The Acts of the Apostles written by Luke is a clear indication of what i am saying.He was there when Paul was going on missionary journey.He made one of Paul's team.He was one of the human who valued divine healing.

I want to raise another point here,that, when Paul was in the prison,he is the only one that stood by him.He  took care of him while in the prison."Paul has wrought miracles and now he is getting worn out, i must be with him and take good care of him" is all i think was on Luke's mind.Remember what Paul said to  Timothy,he said "only Luke is with me". Why?
He valued Divine Healing,he knew God has worked mightily through this man.Paul has no wife to support him in the prison.Luke substituted himself into the post of a wife and perfectly fitted that position.


In this present world we are too busy to listen to God's voice.Many a times we do throw away God's voice!!
Those who have thrown God's voice away,can they rush back to God for divine healing? God  has been ensuring protective measures than divine healing.He has been preventing sickness from the beginning of the bible,considering the way he guided the  children of Israel on health issues.He is more active that you have no disease than healing you.He is not interested in your sickness.God want us to have good health,it is only devil that brings sickness.Now we are hurry in all things we do,but we have forgotten that Hurry is  not of the Devil ,it is the Devil according to Psychiatrist C. G. Jung.There are many people that would hurriedly drink dirty water  and believe that they have good and enough drugs that will deal with any outcomes.There are people too who commit dirty "corner corner" sins and expect divine healing.

The Devil has come not only to steal but to kill and destroy.His primary aim is to ensure you don't have what you should have,Divine Healing.There was a time that some churches were against Hospitals.I am not saying that Divine Healing is no reality.It is,the bible said it is.There is nothing wrong with Hospital healing.The only difference is that while Hospital fight against diseases in your body,divine healing goes into your roots- the soul.When you are divinely healed you are healed in the soul.Through that your salvation is guaranteed.

Divine healing nowadays should be centered and focus on spiritual sickness rather than physical ailments.Many people are going to hell in the church.They have been bewitched,they are under spiritual bondage.Many give testimony of  winning lotteries,financial increase but have no salvation.Many still collude with unbelievers to loot public funds.Christians in those categories need divine healing.Divine Healing nowadays should be centered on removing sin from the life of brother A and sister B There are many who wanted to stop  stealing ,cheating on their wives and doing all  sort of evils but they can't stop, the fact that they are Christians , have tried to stop , are giving testimonies on financial breakthroughs,visa  granted and the rest of them has not given them a true healing from their soul's ailment because they lack the divine healing.

There is anointing of God flowing now,Anointing that heals souls and save from hell.God is strengthening his people against Satanic anointing in the church of God.Francis of Assisi,Augustine,George Fox who preached the message of of listening to God valued divine healing..The truth is that you cannot listen to God with sins in you.Divine Healing should be seen as getting  healing from sins nowadays rather from physical ailments.

Let me go straight to one of the points.Do you need to be healed from soul's ailment,listen to hear God's voice.Seek his voice.Tune your hear and mind toward God.
 Isaiah 6:9&10 says "And He said, Go and tell this people, Hear and hear continually, but understand not; and see and see continually, but do not apprehend with your mind.Make the heart of this people fat; and make their ears heavy and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their hearts and turn again and be healed.That's the principle of divine healing.
   

You  need to pray so that you can hear.To see ,you may need to read to God's words and even hear about God and his Christ.God will heal you if you follow this principle.You need to see where you have gone  wrong against  God. You need to be guided as to what you should do, to come out of your predicaments and whatever has burdened your mind.You need perception and grace to understand God  in your heart.Then movement in the right direction toward God will be possible.

I declare healing on its wing  against every sickness of mind that will tie you down or chain you, to make you remain in the kingdom of darkness in Jesus name.Be healed.

Spiritual healing precedes everything.Divine healing is established only when you do your part.God is ever faithful.People were healed as a result of the word.They marveled at words of Christ.The Devil flees at the  words of Christ.God is gracious to have given us senses, and it is only that with our souls,that we need in divine healing.To be healed divinely,you must harnessed your soul and senses,towards God and his Christ."









































































































































































































































































































































































































































































































 

Nigeria, on my mind.

There has been talks, talks,and talks, coupled with a lot of speculations as to the  where-about of Nigeria's  next line of actions and directions.Mouths have been speaking and minds have been restless over her states,conditions, and affairs, and there shall be as many,many ,many more speaking mouths and... I have always wanted to keep out from issues relating to my country except when i am alone.It is only then that i do reflect on what i read in the newspapers or what i heard from other media's news.
Nigeria has always be on my mind.One fact is that i am still a citizen of this country and by virtue of that and some others i am bound to be loyal to my nation.I pledge my loyalty even though it may not  be in an hundred percent.I mean not absolute, though.Honestly and believe me, i don't like Nigeria,i love my country.Nigeria on the list of countries i am loyal to, remain  at the top,even in the midst of her travails.Nigeria is a great nation.She is my wife,mother,friend,companion,sister,brother,and life specimen as for now.She loves me,house me,feed me,in her God talk to me,in her i dreamed dreams and see visions,developed and keep desiring goals for myself.I have passion to serve God within her.God loves my nation,i want the whole world to know that.Nigeria has stood the test of trials and tribulations.Trials have come and many are still coming.
There has been days of glory in Nigeria,worthy of being treasure and as God is alive there shall be more.The fear of the future has taunted both the rich and poor.Nobody could lay claim over the future as it has been in the past.There is uncertainty, though in the midst of tranquility.It is a mix thing for Nigeria.The mixture, comprising of days of national joy,days of national woes,days of national windfall,days of national scarcity of fuel and gas,days of national epileptic power supply,days of national nothing,nothing.Days of national blackouts,days of national jubilation,days of national freedom,days of national slavery,days of going into captivity,days of national water scarcity,days of national judgement,days of national's international dependency,days the nation look up for international grants, as if without that,she shall not eat!! Days of  Niger-Delta imbrogolio,days of Jos religious crisis,Kaduna burnings and mayhems,Kano religious riots,Boko Harams,to mention few and with the days of national food shortages, that we all have to go out  with empty stomachs.Days,days,days,days and days....!!!!!!! God help our leaders!!
I am no writer in the newspapers and neither i am borrowing a leaf from any journalist nor from any newspaper's columns concerning what i am writing.I am writing plainly, some of what crosses my mind over Nigeria issues and predicaments.
Let me state it here that the meaning of  greener pastures,as often used in the newspapers usually amuse me.I do come across this word  as often as possible when the discussion theme is centered on youths.The newspapers do lament that our youths are seeking greener pastures abroad.I think that word is one good way to cover up,the papers should have been honest enough to say our youths are running away to other countries!!Praise God,the Bible says "He makes me lie down in a green pasture". Nigeria is green whatever may, and while i am still here i will keep reading Psalm 23, and as God is making plan in his plans we shall soon become the  cynosure of all eyes.
I have a word of advice,please, before you say Amen.Nigeria shall become the apples every nation desire to eat from, if honestly, we desire to put God first in dealing with  our every issues.
God loves Nigeria but Nigeria as a nation don't love Him.Nigeria is like the Sodom and Gomorrah of those days.Nigeria abhor the goods and loves the evil by virtue of collective responses and doings.We have not learned from past issues at all.The little history we have from independence has not taught us any  good lesson.We are still the same wicked nigerians.Nigerians are wicked.
There is no good nation in the world,the world is wicked.The wicked one, the Satan rules in the affairs of men as God do and he has taken the reins of men for himself.He controlled them as he will and do to them as he want.He manipulated their hearts,fashion their hearts to do,or say what they never will believe themselves to have done or said.They have been programmed by Satan.God is the God of all nations,but Satan hates God and he never want God's will to be done.He has programmed many nations and African as  a  continent of many nations is under his tight rules and control.Africa is so fetish and demonic.Nigeria is the leading fetish nation in Africa.  The use of juju is so rampant in the nation.It has even crept into the church.God saves us!!I don't know how to lie,that's the truth.
I  don't have nothing against those who seek greener pastures for one day they shall surely found.

We are the enemy of ourselves in this nation.God is not our enemy.We are behind our own as the Dalurudalurus'.We mastermind the  rogbodiyans, mayhems, wahalas and many other terms,terms,terms name them!!
Budgeting is a big headache here.Nigerians doctors have headache as often as possible as their patients do.There is a big match and merge for revolution,but i doubt the ingenuity of the ideas employed if God is not included.
May God be praise that we still have our freedom of movement.I want to say it here  as fact and truth that the day Christians in Nigeria and diaspora stop praying for Nigeria,that's the end for Nigeria.She will stop existing.It is the Church's prayers that have kept the nation to this stage.

I want to tell you that,despite all these problems God in his mercy still make us to move forward.There are signs of developments.We are moving forward by  the reasons of our prayers.There is spiritual darkness in this nation.Darkness is being celebrated in some places in this nation.The nation has some of her hot spots, a little flame there will cause explosion.The security risk there is very high.God is the only one keeping us here.We have no security to claim as our own as masses.God is our security.There is high rate of unemployment.Everyone is weighed down.Rich men in their corridors are always afraid of what their next movements will be. Poor men have resigned to fate.There is uncertainties here and there,but we are so,so, so, blessed by God.We have all it takes to reach the level of comfort collectively,well i am not going to debate on issues like corruption,rich pastors and the rest like that.They don't help.What help is God.When God reveal his mind to you on this issues and show us where we are going to land,we ourselves shall think and come to mutual understanding that we need  a change of mind.

Nigeria worship God (bojubojuly) outwardly in large number but only few serve God in the Spirit and truth.If an herbalist will talk, he will say he is serving God.Does herbalist serve God or Satan? In Nigeria those who goes to herbalist are very well, welcome in the  Church and every other sects and religion in this nation.The truth has been done away with,people respect lies than truth and this not only happen in Nigeria it is all over the world.

I hope i have not taken a flight like this? I am landing if at all i am in the plane...God is saying, visit this blog another day and you will have a good share that will merry your heart,today may have saddened your mind...
Landing...,runway clear..., i can see the signals again and again.I can see lot of families who are waiting helplessly for tonight dinners.God Almighty please provide for them.Amen This Amen require a  quick and timely response. God begin your operation now,feed the nation and lead us once again!!
