YOU ARE WELCOME.

The two Angels beckoned unto the Disciples while looking up on the mountain where Jesus ascended before their eyes. "Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”
This is just a tip of the iceberg. I hope what The Apostle Peter and Paul said of his imminent return gives another insights of his earthly returns.Brethren Christ comes.Keep looking up for the trumpet is at hand.Be at alert.

Theocratic way of Life

The Bible is filled with injunctions and teachings guiding you and me towards a form of godly living.
To be Theocratic is to be godly and straight with divine principles.
Joshua was given a sample of how man would achieved greater success in life by God,and that way of life  is a Theocratic one.
Let me read Joshua 1:8 for you,
" This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
The scripture above, carries in it the genes of Theocratic way of life.We all knew of Joshua failures and successes. Each success were deeply embedded in the Law of God and the obedience to it,while his failures may be traced to his neglect of the scripture at each point in time. It was evident that without submission to the law of God,all his success stories would have been legend of woes!
In our own age,we need to submit and humble ourselves under the mighty hand of God too, that in due time he might exalt us,1 Peter 5:6
If i should take you to one of the legend event in the book of Genesis,of course in Genesis 17: 1,we were told that, "When Abram was ninety-nine years old, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to him, “I am Almighty God; walk before Me and be blameless"
God wanted Abraham to walk before Him and be perfect. This is another theocratic way of life, walking before God,living a perfect life! This way of life encompasses every one, either young or old.
The Psalmist seems to have full understanding of the topic am discussing today. The whole songs of Psalm were filled with Theocratic injunctions dearly cherished by the Psalmists. David in particular, exposed us to some of his delights he had found in the Law of God,by obeying the Law, they had become sources of strength and joy to him. Psalm119
I think it is great,if we can emulate David, his theocratic way of life, and despite he was a king in Israel,he submitted himself, rather than practicing monarchical form of government,David succumbed to the Theocratic way of life.He made it.
There are great successes in giving important priority to the law of God. Solomon is a proof to this. The king sought for the wisdom of God.He agreed to partnership with God, in his government.
In conclusion,Jesus our Lord has come to taught us an important Prayer. The Lord's prayer. Jesus asked us to pray for the Kingdom of God to come. This Kingdom is Theocratic one. Theo in Greek means God. Theocratic simply points to what has some connection with God.It is my prayer that as you read this blog today, the kingdom of God will come upon your life and rule you into Eternity in Jesus name.Amen
